Dr. Jenifer R. Powers-Fruit was a teacher, a mentor, and a lifelong learner who believed that education was the most powerful investment a community could make. When we lost Jen in 2016, her family channeled their grief into action. The Jenifer R Powers Fruit Memorial Fund was born in 2017 with one goal: to put the right tools, teams, and support in the hands of young people in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Every dollar raised at the Jen + Tonic goes directly to scholastic robotics programs — teams that compete, build, and carry Jen’s legacy forward.
